Trinity Graduate Impresses!

This summer Trinity alumnus Da Meh attended Camp Hero, a camp for girls who are interested in pursuing careers in the fields of paramedics, police or fire, run by the police and fire commission of Milwaukee, Girl Scouts of America and MATC.

It was an action-packed week that included repelling down a fire tower, venturing out on Lake Michigan on fire boats, learning how to apprehend criminals and investigate crime scenes, and performing life saving techniques.

Each of the departments was so impressed with Da Meh’s physical abilities and attitude that they offered her the opportunity to participate in the Junior Fire Cadet program, which meets monthly at the police and fire academy in Milwaukee.  After high school graduation, Da Meh can immediately begin working in the cadet program as she continues to train and may qualify for a scholarship to one of MATC’s  2 year programs.

Da Meh begins her junior year at Milwaukee Lutheran High School this fall.
